The governors of Honeywell Infant School work very closely with the governors of Honeywell Junior School in a joint governing body. Our purpose is to support our staff in providing a high quality education in an environment where children are able to thrive in every way. The governing body employs all the staff at Honeywell and our responsibilities include monitoring the curriculum and standards and making sure that children are safe at all times. We welcome the views of parents - and children - about how best we can fulfil the school's ethos and values. |

The chair of the governing body is Honeywell parent Terry Dignan who has children in both the infants and juniors and a daughter who has recently transferred from Honeywell to secondary school. |

Honeywell is lucky to have a very active and supportive governing body. The governors welcome parents’ views or concerns although if the matter is directly concerning your child, you should first speak to the class teacher or the headteacher. But you should always feel able to speak to a governor particularly regarding issues of general concern. |
