On the 21st November 2006, Honeywell Junior School Y6 Tag Rugby team played in the Wands worth Borough Tag Rugby Tournament.

Our first match was against Our Lady of Victories (OLOV) 3. Honeywell played well and forced many mistakes and most of them ended in try's for Honeywell. Final score 5-0, with tries from Josh(2), Ben, Tom and Jean.

The second game was against Riversdale. It was a great game and Honeywell scored 6 tries in 6 minutes. The tries were from Ben(3), Josh(2) and Iszzy. Final score 6-0 to Honeywell.

Honeywell's third game was against Southmead 1. Honeywell played great tag rugby. However, in this game Honeywell conceded their first try. Final score 5-1 to Honeywell. Ben(2), Jean(2) and Mary scored our tries.

Our fourth game was against Our Lady of Victories (OLOV) 1. This team was a better team than OLOV 3. It gave us a shock and woke us up by nearly beating us from our winning streak. Final score 3-2 to Honeywell with tries from Emma, Josh and Mary.

Honeywell's next game, our fifth of the tournament, was against St. Anne's. This was probably our toughest game so far as the opposition had two very quick and strong players. Honeywell won 3-1 with excellent tries from Josh, Tom and Jean.

Our last group match was against Hotham 1. Cameron and Josh both scored a try apiece, with Mary scoring two. Honeywell won 4-1 which meant that we were through to the sem-finals .

Our semi-final match was against Brandelhow 1. The weather was terrible during this match. Hail and rain showed a weakness on their side. Honeywell fought well, despite the bad weather, and won 2-0, with tries from Emma and Josh.

We were unable to play the final as the weather had got too bad. However, we were awarded joint first place with St. Mary's. Therefore we now share the cup.

We would like to thank Mr. Holmes for organising the tournament and for taking us there and well done to the whole team.
